Most of our local installation projects are full door systems, large patio sliders, multi‑panel bifold doors, or multiple windows and screens as part of a remodel or replacement project.

As a rule of thumb, if you are replacing several openings or investing in a large premium door or window system, it is very likely a good fit for our local installation service.

Yes, we do take on select smaller projects locally when they involve our premium products, complex openings, or are part of a larger phased plan for the home.

If your project is very small (for example, one basic window or a simple screen replacement), we may recommend products‑only plus a trusted local installer to keep your total cost down.

For large custom projects and major openings, we regularly ship our doors and windows nationwide.

In some cases, when the project size justifies it (for example, a full luxury home package with a high overall budget), we can send a dedicated installation team or on‑site supervisor outside our immediate region.

For most out‑of‑state customers, DHWD supplies the product and serves as your technical partner while your licensed local contractor handles installation.

We’ll review your plans, provide drawings from our factory, and help you and your contractor choose the right sizes, configurations, and installation details for our aluminum systems.

Many of our customers buy products‑only from us and use their own contractor or installer.

You can order directly through our Shopify website or work with our team to put together a detailed quote and invoice based on your plans, then have the products shipped to your home, jobsite, or warehouse.

Even on product‑only orders, we can help review your plans, suggest configurations, and provide factory drawings so your installer knows exactly how the system is designed.
