Returns & Cancellations Policy
Design Home Windows Doors LLC
1. Return Eligibility & Timeframe

Submission Window: Return requests must be submitted in writing within seven (7) calendar days of delivery.

Authorization Required: A written Return Authorization (RA) must be issued before any merchandise is shipped back.

Unauthorized Returns: Any returns sent without an RA will be refused and returned at the customer's expense.
2. Condition of Merchandise
To qualify for a return, products must be:

Uninstalled, unused, and in original packaging.

In original, undamaged condition.

Note: Products that have been installed, altered, cut, drilled, or field-adjusted are strictly non-returnable. Approval is at the sole discretion of Design Home Windows Doors LLC.
3. Custom & Made-To-Order Products
Most of our products are manufactured to your specific dimensions.

Cancellations: Orders cannot be canceled once production has begun.

Responsibility: The customer is fully responsible for verifying measurements, rough openings, swing direction, configuration, and finishes.

Errors: Customer measurement or specification errors do not qualify for return, refund, or replacement.
4. Fees for Non-Defective Returns
If a non-defective return is approved, the following costs will be deducted from your refund:

Restocking Fee: 35% of the purchase price.

Freight: All return freight charges and original outbound shipping costs.

Additional Costs: Any applicable handling or inspection fees.
5. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

Reporting Window: Claims must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.

Required Documentation: You must provide full-unit photos, close-ups of the defect, packaging photos, the shipping label, and a written explanation.

Resolution: We reserve the right to repair or replace the defective component/product. Refunds are only issued if a repair or replacement is not commercially reasonable.
6. Freight & Shipping Damage

Inspection: You must inspect all products at the time of delivery.

Documentation: Visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt before signing. Failure to do so may void your freight claim.

Liability: Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery.
7. Refund Processing

Timeline: Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 14 business days after inspection.

Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Non-Refundable: Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
8. Limitation of Liability
Design Home Windows Doors LLC is not liable for labor costs, contractor delays, framing modifications, or consequential damages. Maximum liability is limited strictly to the original product purchase price.
